My name is Mae. I am Iranian and have been living in London since 2021.

This space is where I gather my thoughts and experiences as an immigrant, the quiet hopes, the familiar fears, the love and resistance I feel toward my culture and the questions that continue to shape me. It also carries the quiet weight of caring deeply for my country and my people. 

What I write here comes from lived moments, everyday observations, and the thoughts that linger long after they appear. You may find parts of your own experience reflected here, or you may simply be curious about a perspective different from your own.
